No matter who the team is playing, they will know from opening whistle to the final second of their season, that they have a huge target on their back for every… Read Full Story

Potts-Woods too much to handle in All-Star Game

With the regular and post-seasons completed for the Curtis Viking basketball team, a few of the players were given the honor of participating in the Cloud Nine South Sound All-Star Game held Friday, March 18 at Auburn High School. Aushanti Potts-Woods, Glenn Jordan and John Moore suited up for the 4A SPSL South All-Stars as they faced the 4A Narrows All-Star squad. The Narrows kept the game close, but they were unable to keep up with Potts-Woods and his teammates as the 4A SPSL took a 111-102 victory.

Potts-Woods scored 17 points in each half for a game high 34 points and was named the Most Valuable Player. Jordan added nine points on… Read Full Story
