(Right) Adrienne Martelli, a home-town girl who has made University Place proud, is one of a four-member team competing in the Women’s Rowing Quadruple Sculls at the Olympics in Rio. She returns to the Summer Olympics for her second time having won a bronze medal in the Quadruple Sculls in London at the 2012 Summer Olympics. As of print time, her event, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 10, was postponed due to stormy weather conditions and slated to resume on Thursday, Aug. 11. Good luck, Adrienne!
